This was a horrible start for Miami, as we got outscored 47-0 in losing our first 4 games, but we did come back to win the last game vs St. Louis, who we lost to 6-0 earlier.  This weekend we play 5 games in a tournament in Orlando, which should be much nicer than the snow we played through in Peoria. (Who would want to play in a tournament in Peoria in early February anyway)??

This weekend Miami lost to Harvard and got run ruled by South Carolina, but beat Morgan State and Lehigh.  We also beat the Czech national team in 9 innings in an exhibition game.  Officially, Miami is now 3-6.  Next weekend we have two doubleheaders in Louisville.

Grumpy, have you checked out her overall record at Miami.  This is Coach Crowell's 6th year at Miami.  In her resume they do not list the records from her first two seasons, so maybe not a good start.  However, in 2015 we were 32-24  ( 13-7 ), in 2016 we were 35-23  (15-7) and won the MAC tournament and beat #23 Notre Dame in the NCAA tourney.  Last year we were 29-24  (11-9).
