Miami lost 3-2 in OT to #10 Louisville.  We were ahead into the last minute when Louisville tied the score and force OT.  Playing a girl short because of red card violations, we lost in OT.  Next weekend Miami has two home games, playing Appalacian State at 12:00 on Saturday and Michigan State at 2:00 on Sunday.

Have had some very close games against ranked teams recently...hopefully they win the Mac and knock off a few when it counts

I heard from someone at the game that the ACC refs were horrible and the home cooking was obvious. Apparently Miami was up 2-1 with under a minute to play. One of our players got a yellow card and our coach went nuts and got thrown out of the game. Miami was now down a player and UL tied it up. Miami went into overtime without our coach. We lost 2 minutes into sudden death OT.

Apparently we dominated the game. One of the coaches from UL told one of our girls that “the better team did not win today”.

Tough loss but this will make them better for the NCAA tournament. We only lost by 1 goal to 4 different nationally ranked teams: Cal, BU, UVa and now UL.
