What if I told you....

-he would call the school's fanbase and media 'idiots'

-he would call the school 'cheap'

-he wouldn't have a winning season in 5 years

-he would lose games with 95% win probability

-he would lose all non-conference FBS game in 5 years

-he had an incredible buyout clause where the school would not be on the hook for any money

And he wasn't fired.

If we don't win 7+ games next year, he is gone, and we don't have a buyout

How do you figure we don't have a buyout?

I might not agree with the sentiment but this is funny

I really loved the ESPN+ part

Off topic anyone ever notice that our basketball releases are very confusing regarding ESPN+ and ESPN3.  They seem to often interchange them even though they are not interchangeable.

In 2017 alone, Miami blew 3 separate games in which their win probability was at 89% or greater, including 97.5% against UC.
Many of you will complain about using examples from 2 seasons ago, but it is still part of Chuck's body of "work"

I thought after this year his buyout was gone? Maybe I misread that somewhere else.

Love it. But I would call it "Trophy Generation: The Chuck Martin Saga."

Our buyout gets wildly more onerous next year, in fact. Same amount of money, payable over a much shorter people of time with less opportunity for mitigation.

The buyout is the same amount after this season or after next season, with the same deadline to pay it.  Meaning that if we let him go this season, we get twice as long to pay the same amount of money (and to hopefully get mitigation through his getting a different job).

If you are asking when does our MAC schedule come out, should be in like January. But based on what the MAC has done in the past we will most likely have the same three crossover games, just switch the locations. Year after that we should get two new crossover games and Ball State.
