Nojel Eastern's FT shooting reminds me of Charles Barkley's golf swing.

Rooting against Purdue is almost as fun as rooting FOR Miami.

    Boiler. Down.

Cline screwed them when he missed the FT to go up 4.

    Cline has disappeared.

Virginia started guarding him like everyone does with Sibande, flash hard on the dribble handoff and take away his right hand and the quick trigger on his jumper.

What Purdue does better than us with their offense is Cline is willing to swing the ball to the guard running off a screen on the other side, making the defense move.

Now keneth low and Ryan Smith can get back to there jobs that they do so well.

Hope they leave for other jobs and we get guys who truly want to be at Miami.

Can we get those kinds of guys? Not sure, because I’m just an idiot

When the ball was at the high post and down low, Cline had many opportunities to move to open space to get a shot, but did not.

    You're not trying hard enough.

Edit: Hey, Lowe blocked me too! Guess he didn't appreciate my reply to your tweet. *shrugs*

Let’s go Auburn. Wound up with them in a sweet sixteen blind draw. Was not happy at the time, even more worried once the torn acl happened. Now I’d be thrilled with one more win.

Win or lose, McDonald #20 for Sparty, just made the play of the tournament with that 360 drive, bank, roll around the rim and in play

I always thought Purdue players were mentally tough, team first guys.

I guess I was wrong, since I am an idiot

Should be a fun and wide open Final Four. A little bit of everything.
  • thechuck_2112thechuck_2112 Wealthy Alum
I really, really would rather the Hoos be playing UK instead of Auburn.

I was also blocked by Lowe. Must have been for liking Chucks tweet.

This reminds me of our football game at Notre Dame. Instead of going up there with a burning determination to win—and communicating that to the team—CM seemed to see himself as the leader of a pilgrimage to genuflect at the Golden Dome. Players pick up on that, we proceed to get drilled.

Does Purdue have anyone about to graduate with a year of eligibility left?  Maybe we've been looking at this all wrong...

    Nah probably not.

I don't remember ever seeing Texas tech, Virginia or Auburn in the final four. Not saying they havent been before, but I certainly don't recall. So I'm glad about how things shook out over the weekend. It'll be a fresh final four. No Duke, NC, Kansas, Kentucky, etc.

For a guy who hadn't watched a non-Miami basketball game all year until this tourney, I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm actually looking forward to the Final Four.

Ralph Sampson took them to a Final Four and Elite Eight when he was there.

UVA also made the Final Four in 1984 despite having lost Sampson to graduation.

I can think of a couple other things Purdue does better than us....heck, they even hold our coaches interest better...baddabing ;)

PS that was a heckuva game!

Between Virginia, Texas Tech, and the dome effect, these could be some really unaesthetic games.
