    @UMassFootball

We’ve added two games with Miami (Ohio) to our upcoming schedule.

     Sept. 9, 2023 (home)

    Sept. 28, 2024 (away)

throw them out of the MAC and then have teams like Miami, Ohio, EMU and UB all schedule home/home with them.

What other school that people have heard of will play a 1 and 1 with us?

Makes it even more infuckingsane that Bates ensured that Minnesota, Missouri, Boise State, and Colorado (am I forgetting anyone?) never showed up in Oxford despite already being scheduled.

IIRC - we gave up the Boise State/Colorado games  so we could force a neutral site game vs UK into Paul Brown Stadium and we lost 42-0.  I think Toledo ending up taking our Colorado home game and playing them on national TV.

1.31.05 Miami announces home/home with Temple (2005, 2008 ).  Miami went to Temple in 2005 and when Temple joined the MAC, the contract was terminated and Miami did not receive that home game.
    5.24.05 Miami announces a 3-game series with Minnesota (2007, 2009, 2011)
    7.3.05 Miami announces home/home with Boise (2009, 2010)
7.25.06 Miami announces home/home with Colorado (2007, 2009).  To accommodate the addition of Colorado, Miami worked with Minnesota to move its originally schedule 2009 home game with the Gophers to a different season.  The Miami home game was to be played on a Friday night primetime on ESPN
    6/4/09 Miami announces home/home with Missouri (2010, 2012)

Then Miami decided to schedule UK to be played at PBS.  In order to accommodate this, Miami:

    1) gave up a Friday night primetime game in Oxford vs. B12 Colorado
    2) an Away basketball game was played at Colorado in 2009 for no compensation (est. loss at $80k)
    3) a home/home basketball game had to be scheduled with Towson State in order to appease Northwestern for causing it scheduling issues)
    4) The loss of hosting Boise AND forcing Miami to play an additional game at Boise as a replacement for Bowling Green (who was scheduled to play at Boise)

and don't forget this terrific ARTICLE. or this ARTICLE.

When BB moved the Boise St game, I already had plane and hotel booked for the original date.  Had a great time touring Idaho without the pain of watching a freakin' game on blue turf with the home team wearing blue [camouflaged] uniforms.

Will that even be an FBS game by the time we play it?

I am surprised they scheduled UMass for an away game in 2023, that is three OOC away games again.

Well we get UC every year and our last few G5 home-and-home opponents have been Marshall twice, WKU, and Army, considering how awful we've been that's a pretty decent lineup. I'm just wondering why we always have to play on the road the first game for all these.

I actually look forward to an early season trip to UMass.  We have played them on the road twice, once in the Patriots stadium and once on campus.  Do we know where this game will be played?

The battlefield park in Concord -- UMass's true homefield.

Seriously, has anybody seen our future schedules?  Almost every year we have 3 away games out of conference and then play one home game against some crap D3 team Ive never even heard of like LIU Post or some nonsense.  Not impressed with Saylor's scheduling.  One year are only "home" game is against UC IN CINCINNATI...
