  • look at 1984 for 1 example of how a hard schedule did not cost a bid, my senior year. Do you really think college basketball is the same now as it was 35 years ago?
  • Re: Freshman QBs - it may be a frequent occurrence this year...... https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2811961-true-freshmen-qbs-who-could-start-week-1-in-2019#slide7 Buffalo is starting a freshman
  • I miss when Miami played a hard OOC schedule and even won at times.  And that got us: 0 at large bids A bad record Decreased fan support But some great paydays
  • Josh Maize has a wrap on his knee and didn't practice. Kimpler is still out but no braces.
  • Same question as Jive-who is done for the year? CM in his camp wrap up just say one guy is gone for year with injury. Anyone have any clues? See edit above. In the Day 14 gallery you can see him on crutches in the background next to Dom on the ellip…
  • One player done for the season. Wonder who it is. Hopefully not Kimpler... Anyone else not playing during camp? Edit: Just did some digging. I think it's Andrew Sharp.
  • In the last video Chuck mentioned all 3 will play at some point. Most likely 2 against Iowa. He's hoping somebody runs away with it during the season.
  • Don't care Cared enough to comment.
  • Also, I'm glad I didn't see this after our 0-12 season. I would imagine it would be worse than what they're saying about BG. That team is a disaster. CMU isn't much better.
  • https://athlonsports.com/college-football/mac-coaches-talk-anonymously-about-conference-foes-2019 "That scheme is really good, and they execute it well. But they get really tight in close games, like they're overthinking it.” The above was a comm…
  • He actually played QB his first year at Miami and then moved over to receiver. I say play, he never saw action, I think it was more of they needed an extra body at the position. Sure you aren't thinking about Dom? Sorenson was a WR from the start a…
  • I took from Dick's post he was here last season,  my  mistake. He's a redshirt freshman who's never taken a live snap. He's going to make silly decisions.
  • Sorenson's story is great. He came in with a class full of receivers. Stori Emerson, DeAndre Huff, KJ Hancock, and Tyler Fleetwood. Sorenson was the lowest rated because he had to play quarterback his senior season. He's really picked up. He's fast,…
  • So does this mean that he had to juice in order to hack it on the Bosnian national team? No, it means he was getting stoney baloney too much.
  • (Not so) fun fact: if a pregnancy test shows up as positive for a male, it's a warning sign for testicular cancer. I was worried for a second but now I can laugh at DJ.
  • ...his role would likely be limited at MU given the talent of the incoming players and ICL being healthy again.Umm...no. 4th on the team in minutes as a sophomore, 2nd highest fg%....He was one of our bright spots. His role would have increased. He…
  • I've said repeatedly that I don't understand why Miami schedules non-conference games at New Hampshire, Maine and Providence when there must be closer, non-flight options. That's what people should be questioning. Thread winner. A lot of good…
  • Doesn't it say something that a recent grad considers staying in a job for a year a "long time." That's how the economy works now, especially for people just getting out of college. I graduated in December 2016 and I've lived in three states since …
  • I honestly know nothing, except that we aren’t very good anymore.... are you saying in order to make money, we need to win the conference? No, I'm saying we've already won the NCHC once. We also have one of the best recruiting classes coming down t…

  • Why aren’t we included on that list??? Our current situation is objectively better than that one. You don't leave the Pac 12 for the Mountain West, after all. Why because the conference has better hockey programs? Question: does conference aff…
  • Our schedule ensures we start 1-3 and kills any enthusiasm and hope for the season and then they will wonder why nobody comes to home games.  We are either playing LIU Post, Pine Bluff, Tenn Tech OR....  we are already 1-5 with EMU trotting into tow…
  • So there is little confidence in the 6 or so QB's currently on the roster?Yea. That's why the coaches are trying to get a transfer. Or because we have to underclassmen and play OSU and Iowa. Throwing young kids to the wolves tends to kill develop…
  • That's a new track and field event. Someone should make a mat, where you can jump...
  • Historically, Miami has always been present at Ohio State camps.  However, Miami has not been invited in years when it plays Ohio State.  I believe this is a practice that Ohio State follows for all teams that it plays I prefer jumping to conclusion…
  • Technically, the play-by-play for 18 NHL finals have been announced by a Miami grad. Mike “Doc” Emrick! For NBC. The teams broadcaster is a Miami grad though, same as the Caps last year. Hopefully he brings the cup to Oxford as well.

  • To Noah's defense, he played well in D3 until injury and he left because he didn't want to play FBS. He played well in the game he was thrown into at Miami too, but the oline killed him. Politics (government, not team) might've played a factor too.
