It breaks it down in the release.

Disappointed in Phil Steele. By all other accounts (PFF, ESPN, etc) Sterling Weatherford is consistently named one of the best DBs in the country and in G5.

He was just named to the Bednarik Watch List.

ESPN+ article lists top 10 safeties - nice write up about each player and shows Weatherford at #6 in the country.

Can you honestly name 2 CBs and safeties better than Rugamba and Weatherford in the MAC?

Ive seen a DB from Ball State mentioned here and there, but certainly not two guys. Mike Brown on 4th team is another crap job

So glad to see Weatherford on the Bednarik Watch List. He has been somewhat of an underrated player IMO (at least up until now). He has a great nose for the ball and seems to consistently make big plays whenever he is on the field. Well deserved.

Just got my 2020 edition in the mail, even if it was out of date as soon as it went to print. We're picked third in the East behind UB and OU, though in his words we "could repeat"; main reasons are that our number of close wins last year and negative net yards per game in-conference slightly outweigh our increased experience. Unlike previous editions there were no bowl predictions. Some random factoids as well:
    • The MAC is projected ahead of the Sun Belt this season after finishing dead last a year ago
    • Last year's special teams were rated 6th in the nation
    • Don't laugh, but our coaching staff was ranked 2nd in the MAC (tied with UB and Toledo), with the QB/DL/DB groups 2nd as well (worst position is RB at 8th)
    • We haven't been favored against OU since 2005
    • We're 80-45-6 in season openers in our history, even after going 1-11 in the last twelve
    • I didn't know this fall's schedule (on paper) was the first time ever we'd have seven home games
