Hockey Signs 4

No official release, but Bake was interviewing one of the coaches who broke down the signing class.

Looks like this:

Decent class for Berg's first real signing class.

All 4 are Blasi Boys and 21-22.

    Rydqvist
    Persson
    Drazner
    Holland
    Cassetti
    Moulton
    Barbolini
    Rule (transfer providence)
    Olmstead (transfer Michigan)

Those are the ones who committed with Berg and freshmen minus transfers.

    Silver is Rico too.

There are still Rico commits 2 years out, including USNTDP Goalie giant, Gibson Homer.

This site does a good job tracking commits, but typically only gives you the basic info.

(That link looks sketchy, if you wanna google just go “Chris Heisenberg hockey” and you’ll see the pages.)

I’m not entirely sure how accurate this is, considering how hard it can be to follow college hockey recruiting. But according to the USNTDP Twitter, Gibson Homer is listed as “Uncommitted”. They typically post their lineups for each game, similar to how we do. However instead of showing which NHL team they were drafted by, they show the colleges logo they’ve committed to. While it used to have a Miami logo next to it, I noticed a little while back that only Red Savage had the Miami logo.

Could be. Hard to keep track when kids verbal 5 years before they would ever show up.

Especially for a program that has had eight coaches in the past 2 1/2 years.

    Brian is a Miami legend.

But, man ... I can't let this pass ... "Red Savage"?  Poor kid is going to get cancelled just because of his name. No doubt, though, if he's got half the ability that his Dad had, I want him.
