The Cleveland Baseball Team 2021 "unload, then reload"

Having rid themselves of big contracts for Francisco Lindor, Carlos Santana, Carlos Carrasco, and Brad Hand, this week the Indians resigned Cesar Hernandez and now signed OF Eddie Rosario, which is not only a big add on but also takes a guy off the rival Twins.  Rumors have been floating around that the Indians were going to trade Amad Rosario to the Reds for an OF, then use Giminez as their starting SS, but evidently that deal has not or perhaps will not happen.  The Reds definitely need a starting SS, and Rosario still has several years of team control, so that kind of deal makes sense for both teams.

Cesar Hernandez was the Indians second best position player last year ( won a Gold Glove at 2B and was a consistent and clutch hitter).  With the addition of Hernandez and Rosario, the lineup looks so much better than it did a week ago.

Obviously the Indians are not better off without Lindor and Carrasco, but I really like these signings. The offense just has to be not awful, and the pitching can carry them pretty far.
