I can't think of anything worse than having some drunk college students screaming their lungs out in their own "student section" at a college football game.
For previous Miami admit that's probably the position they'd actually take. Us starting to serve beer at the game last year probably represents a shift in their stance with Sayler and Crawford in, though if they choose not to move the game into the night for TV they can use homecoming as something of an excuse...

  • St Petersburg Bowl - Game Thread (12/26)

FWIW unless already noted: official attendance of 15,717.
I was there, and the crowd was a lot more partisan than I expected. There were more Mississippi State fans there, but the cowbells made them seem larger than they really were. And at least that number was actual butts in the seats, unlike the Detroit game that had less than half the people there than their official figure.

Alright Chuck, this is why you're paid the big bucks (for the MAC at least).

  • UNC-Charlotte beat Marshall

As a somewhat related footnote, but our non-conference opponents for 2017 right now have a combined record of 8-19. Marshall and Notre Dame are sitting at 2-5, UC is 4-3, and Austin Peay is 0-6.

Who's genius idea is it for us to have a home game on fall break?

Presumably the MAC's, since that's a conference game.
You think a conference concerned with attendance would know better than choose a home game when many students are out of town, or at least give us a bye week.
